Staff Accountant

South Bend International Airport is seeking a motivated individual for the position of Staff Accountant in the Administration Department.  This position will perform the day to day accounting functions of the Airport Authority and will report to the Director of Administration and Finance.

Candidates should have at least five (5) years’ experience with increasing responsibility over that period and should be able to perform accounting data input, reconciliation and maintain effective record keeping. Audit preparation and grant reporting experience highly preferred.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting or equivalent preferred with specialized training in bookkeeping, file management, accounting / general ledger software, including database management programs and spreadsheets, strongly preferred.  Fund accounting experience highly preferred.

The pay range for this position is $16-$25 an hour with an excellent benefits package.

Information and Communications Center Agent

The South Bend International Airport is seeking a motivated individual for the position of Information and Communications Center Agent. This position provides a customer service function for all airport divisions including monitoring airport security systems; disseminating information to the public, employees and airline personnel; and dispatching Safety Officers as needed. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 6-12 months customer service experience requiring public contact. Candidates must also have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and be able to use multi-line telephone systems and general office equipment. The position is regularly scheduled for 25 hours per week, with additional hours required on occasion, and will involve shift work, weekends and holidays. The starting pay rate is $10.00 per hour. The ability to pass criminal history and up to 10-year employment and background checks is required. Submit resume and cover letter to [email protected].
