South Bend International Airport is seeking a motivated individual for the position of Maintenance Worker in our Maintenance Department. This position performs a variety of tasks including maintenance, repairs, alterations and modifications of buildings equipment, systems, pivot lift gates, roadways and grounds, snow removal, and heavy equipment operation. Candidates should have demonstrated experience in general mechanical procedures and practices.
Must be able to use power and hand tools, and be able to perform a variety of general construction and repair tasks. Knowledge and experience in with low voltage IP camera and controls, a plus.
We require a high school diploma or equivalent with emphasis on technical or shop courses such as woodworking, mechanics, metal shop and drafting. This is a full-time position that may involve shift work, weekends and holidays as necessary. The starting rate of pay is $16.92 per hour. The ability to pass criminal history and up to 10-year employment and background checks is required. Customer Service Representative
The South Bend International Airport is seeking a motivated individual for the position of Part-Time Operations Center Customer Service Representative. This position provides a customer service function for all airport divisions including monitoring airport security systems; disseminating information to the public, employees and airline personnel; and dispatching Safety Officers as needed. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 6-12 months customer service experience requiring public contact. Candidates must also have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and be able to use multi-line telephone systems and general office equipment. The position is regularly scheduled for 24 hours per week, with additional hours required on occasion, and will involve shift work, weekends and holidays. The starting pay rate is $10.00 per hour. The ability to pass criminal history and up to 10-year employment and background checks is required.
