All taxis servicing SBN are licensed and authorized by the City of South Bend, and approved by South Bend Airport Authority to operate on airport property. Please contact us for more specific information regarding taxi procedures at SBN.
Drop off and pick up by popular riding sharing services, Uber & Lyft, are permitted at South Bend International Airport. Not familiar with ridesharing? Uber & Lyft are ridesharing businesses that use private drivers to pick up customers and take them to their destinations with a tap of a button on their smart phones. The nearest driver is often at the selected pickup location within minutes. To use Uber of Lyft, the apps must be downloaded on smart phones.

The South Shore rail line is operated by NICTD and connects South Bend International Airport with cities throughout Northwestern Indiana, with a final destination of downtown Chicago, making SBN an easy stop to anywhere in the Michiana region. Tickets can be purchased with a credit card at the east end of the terminal or online, or with cash from the conductor on the train.

South Bend is on Eastern Time year-round and is one hour later than Chicago. All other stations on the route observe Central “Chicago” time. All times shown on the schedule are local times.

Tickets for Coach USA can be purchased on the bus. Coach USA offers commuter bus service to Midway (MDW) and O’Hare (ORD) airports in Chicago. Buses arrive and depart from South Bend International Airport eight (8) times daily.
Tickets for Greyhound can be purchased at the bus station located at the west end of the terminal. Greyhound offers direct bus service to Midwest destinations and connections nationwide. Greyhound offers daily service to Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis and Toledo.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the bus station located at the west end of the terminal. Barons Bus offers service to Cleveland, Columbus and Chicago.
Hoosier Ride provided by Miller Transportation
Tickets for Hoosier Ride can be purchased at the bus station located at the west end of the terminal. Hoosier Ride offers inter-city bus service directly from South Bend to Indianapolis and Kalamazoo, MI. The South Bend main route includes stops in Elkhart, Plymouth, Rochester, Peru and Kokomo. This service also connects to other routes with various stops throughout Indiana, and it connects with main Greyhound terminals.

The Interurban Trolley provides bus service on three fixed routes. Together with Transpo, the Trolley provides easy, affordable public transit along the corridors connecting Elkhart and Goshen and South Bend International Airport.
