At South Bend International Airport, we are giving you a taste of South Bend. Whether you are coming, going or picking up, South Bend Chocolate Company employees will greet you with a sweet sample.
South Bend Chocolate Café and Bar Fly, located past the security checkpoint in Concourse A, serves fresh, local foods as well as delicious local craft brews, and is open daily from 4:30 a.m. until the last flight departs.
Pre-security near baggage claim, you can grab a bite from Bar Fly or Studebagels or create your own popcorn at The Pop Stop.

Grab a last minute snack, souvenir or travel item from our gift shop, which is located before the security check-point in the main terminal. Want to wait until you are through security? A smaller version of our gift shop has all your necessities.

Gift Shop Hours (post-security): 4:30 a.m. until the last flight departs.
Take a load off and rent a baggage cart to transport your luggage through the terminal! Carts are located in baggage claim and on the front drive near the Valet Parking Booth. They are only a quarter to rent, and you’ll even get your quarter back if you return the cart.
Water Refill Station
Did you know you can take an empty water bottle through security and refill it for free at our filtered water bottle refill station? The refill station is located between Gates 6 and 7.
Airport Information Center
Need help while in the airport? Our Airport Information Center located near baggage claim across from the United ticket counter. Our friendly staff is available for assistance prior to the first departure until the last arrival daily.
Passengers with Special Needs
South Bend International Airport is accessible to travelers of all physical abilities. We offer a number of services and resources to assist our travelers.
- Family restrooms
- Hearing Loop for the hearing impaired broadcasts information and syncs with hearing aids worn by passengers in the new terminal area
- Companion assistance to the gate area – If you need to accompany a departing passenger through security and to the gate area, airline officials may, at their discretion, issue a gate pass at the ticket counter

ADA Policy and Procedure
South Bend International Airport has established policies and procedures in accordance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), and to ensure better service and access to all customers using its airport facilities, programs or services.
The Airport’s ADA Liaison Officer is responsible for administering the Airport’s overall compliance program and is designated, in accordance with federal regulation, to coordinate the Airport’s efforts to comply with and carry out its responsibilities on the basis of disability, including investigation of any complaint communicated to the Airport alleging the denial of access to an Airport service, activity or program based on disability.
Pursuant to Title II of the ADA and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the grievance procedure is to be used by persons who allege a complaint or a violation of the ADA. Individuals are not required by federal regulations to use this grievance procedure, but may file complaints directly with the appropriate enforcement agency.

All written communication and noted information will remain on file with the South Bend international Airport for a period of three years from the date received. Information provided will be treated confidentially to the extent required by law. Sharing of information, including identity, will be done only as needed to resolve the complaint or as required by law.
These ADA Policies and Grievance Procedures are reviewed annually by the South Bend International Airport to ensure compliance with applicable federal law.

There are two ATM units located inside the airport. The first is located across from the Airport Information window, between the gift shop and the United ticket counter. The second is post-security near the business center.
Free wi-fi internet service is available throughout the airport provided by BOINGO. Simply launch your browser and connect to the service (SSID = Boingo Hotspot); then follow the instructions from there. If you are experiencing difficulty connecting to the wireless network, call the BOINGO support center at (888) 649-6727.

Lost and Found
If you believe you have lost an item in the terminal, please visit the Airport Information Office located across from baggage claim, or call the office at (574) 282-4590 #0. The Airport Information Office is staffed daily prior to the first departing flight until the last arrival.
