JOIN US FOR SBN’S 2ND ANNUAL AVIATION EDUCATION DAY EVENT!
WHAT?
Come learn about all things aviation, with features including aircraft displays, airfield tours, airport equipment showcases, interactive presentations, and young eagle flights (limited availability and weather permitting). The FAA, TSA, airport tenants, and SJCAA administration will be the presenters. The aviation merit badge is available to those who attend all sessions of the event.
WHO?
This event is open to the public of all ages, as well as scouts ages 11-17.
WHEN?
This event is on October 26, from 8am-2pm. Gates open at 7am for check-in.
WHERE?
This event is located at South Bend International Airport, at the corner of Corporate Drive and Lathrop Drive near the Air Traffic Control Tower. There will be directional signs along Lathrop to assist. There will also be parking attendants to assist. Parking is free.
WHAT ELSE?
- There will be a food truck from 10am-2pm for you to purchase lunch from! It will be the On the Money BBQ food truck.
- Restrooms will be available.
- Bounce house will be available for children.
