Sports
A true sports fan can’t leave Dallas without staying for a night of Dallas Cowboys football at “Jerry World” (otherwise known as AT&T Stadium). This retractable roof stadium makes it a perfect destination no matter what the weather outside may be. Dallas is also home to the Texas Rangers of the MLB, the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA as well as the Dallas Stars of the NHL. Explore Outdoors
If you want to take in the sunny Texas weather, Klyde Warren Park is right in downtown Dallas and sits atop an eight-lane freeway. Opened in 2012, this 5-acre deck park is ideal for a picnic outside or even a break from work in the city. If you plan your trip around lunch, you can enjoy food from one of the many food trucks lining the street. If want to escape the city life without actually leaving the city, you can bike, walk, run, skate, and make your way down the Katy Trail in North Dallas. Shopping
If you truly want to see every shop there is to see and then some, make sure to plan your days around a trip to the Galleria Mall. With three floors of shopping and a floor with an ice-skating rink and restaurants, there is certainly no shortage of things to do at this mall. If you’d like to spend more time outside shopping, West Village in Uptown Dallas is a must see. West Village has Spin classes, hotels, events, food and drink, as well as a movie theatre so that everything is conveniently in one place.
