Live Fire Training to Take Place at South Bend International Airport

South Bend, IN. – Firefighters from the Gary/Chicago International Airport (GYY) will conduct live fire training at South Bend International Airport (SBN) on Monday, July 16, and Monday, July 23, 2018 from approximately 9:30 a.m. until Noon. The training will take place at the live fire training facility on the northwest corner of the airfield.

The fire safety training is mandated by the FAA under FAR Part 139 for any entity specializing in Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF).
